Summer 2004 - KPRC Channel 2 hilights volunteer effort organized by Aspie Friendly founder and president, Lorin Neikirk.

Spring 2006 - As a member of the CFISD Special Education Parent Advisory Committee board, Lorin Neikirk conceptualizes and plans Cy-Fair ISD's first Special Education Resource Fair for all family members of children in special education in the Cy-Fair Texas Independent School District.

August 2007 - Lorin Neikirk is asked to speak to a full school staff of Cy-Fair ISD special and general education teachers, at a training session in preparation for the school year.

2008 Aspie Friendly hits internet radio waves with BlogTalkRadio talk show.

December 2008 - Aspie Friendly "Little Learning Book" series for classroom behaviors, originally written by request from Cy-Fair teachers, are published and available on Amazon.com.

November 2009 - Aspie Friendly is asked to participate in consortium, with Advancing Futures for Adults with Autism, in a Virtual National Town Hall, helping to shape a five year national autism agenda.

April 2010 - Easter Seals NTX Autism Awareness event with guest speaker Lorin Neikirk.

July 2010 - Aspie Friendly and Lorin Neikirk featured in lead article in quarterly special needs magazine, Thrive.
